You might refer to your respective device user guide for specific instructions on setting up Remote Synchronization.

The best source of information as to whether your mobile phone supports SyncML or Remote Data Synchronization is the manufacturer of your device, their respective websites and/or your user guide.

SyncML is available in most GSM, UMTS and CDMA mobile devices from manufacturers such as Nokia, Motorola, LG, SonyEricsson, Siemens, etc, as a native component.

Synchronization is based upon Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) SyncML specifications standard. Virtually all devices that conforms to OMA SyncML specifications for Remote Synchronization are supported.

The implementation of SyncML capability in your mobile device is by its respective device manufacturer. Implementation issues or deviations from industry standards within each device, if any, are therefore external to O-Sync.

The above might be the cause for some owners with certain SyncML capable device experiencing unsuccessful sync during initial protocol negotiation with O-Sync.
